Also known as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or crib death, infant cot death is one of the most common causes of infant death in the world even today. The tragic phenomenon of SIDS death usually strikes infants from 1 month to 1 year of age, although mostly within the second to fourth month while they sleep.
